We have a state of the art test kitchen and analytical laboratory. Our Quality and Product Development Teams are able to apply relevant state of the art science to product development with a strong focus on nutrition, taste, and product stability. Our analytical testing capabilities include:

  • Protein/Nitrogen analysis- Leco Model FP-528 Analyzer
  • Particle analysis- Beckman Coulter LS 13320 Laser Particle Size Analyzer
  • Bulk density- Quantachrome Autotap Model AT-1
  • Ash measurement- Phoenix microwave muffle furnace
  • Fat measurement- CEM SmartTrac programmed to match Mojonnier method
  • pH measurement- (temperature-compensated)
  • Moisture – CEM SmartTrac using microwave/CSC Moisture Balance/Mettler Moisture Balance/Karl Fischer Titrator
  • Viscosity – Brookfield RVT and LVT viscometers
  • Mesh analysis- Tyler RX-29 Ro-Tap test sieve shaker
  • Solubility- Beckman Coulter centrifuge
  • Equipped to run customer specific titrations

Quality Certifications

We are an SQF 2000 Level 2 certified company and take pride in being amongst the few companies who successfully achieved SQF certification with a high rating at the very first certification audit. A Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification is globally recognized for the implementation of a HACCP food safety plan by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) is an industry-driven initiative providing leadership and guidance on food safety management systems necessary for safety along the supply chain.

Our consistent efforts enabled us to meet ISO 9001:2008 surveillance and recertification’s audit requirements without a single non-conformance during the last five years.

HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) certification is a food safety system encompassing the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and compliance to 9CFR417 and 21CFR110.
