Instructions For Use:
- Shake well until the probiotic powder is dispersed. The powder settles on the bottom of the bottle with sunflower oil. This is normal.
- Attach the syringe to the plastic insert in the bottleneck.
- Hold the bottle upside down and withdraw the recommended dose (typically 0.5 ml).

7. Which probiotic species do you use?
Barisential probiotic contains Lactobacillus paracasei MCC-1849 (GI Shield postbiotic), Pediococcus acidilactici CECT 7483, Lactobacillus plantarum CECT 7484, Lactobacillus plantarum CECT 7485 (Intensive GI i31 blend) and Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus GG. We are deliberately not using Bacillus spores because they are stomach acid activated which we consider unsuitable for Bariatric patients.
8. Do I have to add it to food or can I take it directly in the mouth?
You can squeeze the probiotic drop directly into the mouth. It has a slight citrus taste. A teaspoon can be used for hygienic reasons.
9. Can I add it to any food?
Avoid watery drinks because the probiotic drop is oily and will float. We recommend adding it to a protein shakes, pudding or yoghurt. Or you could drop it on solid food or a salad. Do not use very hot food because probiotics are temperature sensitive and lose their potency.
